This year ie 2012 the Holi falls on the 08th of March

Holi! A word that conjours up images of colours, gaity, high spirits. The festival of colours like no where else. Water colours, powder colours, paste colours, paint colours..men , women, old, young, friends, foes, every one! out on the rooftops, streets, courtyards spraying colours on each other..Shouting..Bura na Mano..HOLI HAI! (Dont Mind..Its Holi!)


The festival celebrates the triumph of the good over the evil.
We at the the Explorer's Nest celebrate it in the traditional style, keeping it as pleasent and clean as the festival has meant to be.
IMPORTANT ADVISE: Do NOT venture out on the streets on the day of the festival. Remain and celebrate the festival within the confines of the premesis of the hostel/hotel/house where you are staying. Things can get naughty and unpleasent at times.
