What an oasis! Meeting Arvind and Shoma was an essential part of our India experience. The room was lovely and we even watched a Bollywood movie on the big screen in the lounge. If you are coming to Jaipur, stay here!

Best place we stayed in India by far. Rooms are nicely decorated, clean, & comfortable. Location is great and the owner, Arvind is the man. He was so helpful and really looked after us during our stay in Jaipur. A++++

This place is tonic for the soul, it's like a peaceful oasis within the city! For hosts Arvind and Shoma nothing is too much trouble they are kind, accommodating and incredibly helpful. The rooms are lovely and the breakfast tasty. The location is great, just a short hop from the main part of town and attractions such as the Pink City, yet its quiet corner location allows it to keep its charm.

Call for pick-up from the hostel that is better. The location is behind the main street . The richshaw driver may not find it out. The guest house is good so I recommend to other travellers. Don't forget to buy some cookies from the Venus Bakery that is very yummy.

The proprietors Arvind and Shoma are amazing hosts! They will fill you in on anything from where to eat in Jaipur to Indian customs, culture and history. This guest house is situated in a quiet neighborhood and one would never suspect that the hustle and bustle of Jaipur's MI road lies just a minute's walk from this charming property. Food & entertainment are great as well.

I've never given any hostel 100% before, but the Explorer's Nest deserves it. Just a small guest house with five rooms, but it's decorated with amazing artifacts, and the rooms are comfortable and clean (well they were before i dyed it pink from Holi - sorry Arvind). Showers are hot which and of good pressure. The included breakfast is just one of the fantastic touches that your host's Arvid and Shoma provide. Thank you both for a fantastic stay.

Explorer's nest is a cozy family run place that will make you feel at home. Arvind and Shoma are so friendly and great sources of information. Good rooftop and porch to relax, and Arvind is happy to watch a movie with you as well. I came for 2 days and stayed a week. Highly recommended. FYI - The place only has a few rooms so if you need to cancel your reservation alert Arvind so he doesn't have to turn people away.

Genuinely the nicest guesthouse I've ever stayed in. Arvind, the owner, was a fantastic host and our room was clean, well equipped and very well decorated. If returning to Jaipur, I wouldn't think of staying anywhere else.

The explorer's nest is really ideally located; within walking distance from the pink city, the great cinema, the public gardens, and a big choice of eateries! The couple who runs this hostel is charming and very helpful.

Run by a lovely couple, we arrived very early in the morning and Arvind was there to greet us. Location is very good, not inside the old city but within easy walking distance and near ATM's and bakerys etc. Room was nice and the general balcony was nice and relaxing. I highly recommend this place if you are wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle of the old city without being out of touch!
