Explorers Nest has been hosting you in Jaipur. Now Explorer's Nest wants to take you to the virgin beauty of the pristine mountains of the Himachal Pradesh in India. Silent, peaceful, non-polluted either by the city culture or the city air.
This will be a noprofit-noloss camp. We propose to make a group of about 8 people. Go to the site and set our camp. Every One Pitches his/her own Tent, digs own latrines, constucts make shift bathrooms, sets up a small make shift kitchen. No helpers.
Explorer's Nest will help in finding the site, liasoning with the locals, help in purchase/rent of Camp Equipment.
The duration Proposed is 15 days(flexible) and the cost would be about Rs 10,000 per head(again flexible, depending upon what kind of amenities and food we look for.) The activities at the camp will broadly include yoga, meditation, comfortable treks, cooking, archery, visiting nearby local sites/temples/monuments, working with the villagers, celebrating local festivals/ceremonies with them without intruding into their privacy or traditions. The Village for the camp identified is Ghiagi at an altitude of 6000ft. The temps would be around 70 Deg F during the day and 50 Deg F during the night.
